Niche edit pricing: costs, packages and agency margins
How much do niche edits cost, and how do you price them for clients without squeezing your margin? This guide covers typical niche edits pricing, what pushes a price up or down, why cheap niche edit links often cost more in the end and how to build a resale price that still works after your own time is counted.
All SEORUK figures were checked on 5 November 2026. Our niche edits are $60 per link (about £44.53), sold in packages of 5, 10 or 20 links. Checkout is charged in GBP and UK buyers pay 20% VAT on top.

What decides the price of a niche edit
A niche edit price is mostly the cost of getting a site owner to agree to an edit on a page that already has value. Several things move that number:
- The site itself: real organic traffic, a clear topic and an editorial history cost more than a site built to sell links.
- The age and standing of the page: an aged, indexed page that already earns visits is worth more than a new or orphaned one.
- The niche: competitive markets such as finance or software usually have fewer willing publishers and higher asking prices.
- Who does the work: finding pages, checking them, negotiating and writing the insertion all take time, and that labour is part of every price you see.
- What is guaranteed: delivery time, revisions and replacement terms are part of what you pay for, even when a list price looks similar.
That is why two offers at the same price can be very different products. Compare the inclusions, not just the number.
Our niche edit packages
| Package | Links | Price per link | Package price | Delivery | Revisions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 5 | $60 (£44.53) | $300 (£222.65) | 15 days | 3 per link |
| Growth | 10 | $60 (£44.53) | $600 (£445.30) | 15 days | 3 per link |
| Scale | 20 | $60 (£44.53) | $1,200 (£890.60) | 15 days | 3 per link |
Every link goes on an aged page from a niche-specific, real website, and every order arrives with a white label report of live URLs. The price per link stays the same across all three packages, so you do not have to buy in bulk to get a fair rate. Bulk niche edits simply mean a bigger package, not a different standard.
Until 31 January 2027, every niche edit order gets double the links: order 5 and receive 10, order 10 and receive 20, order 20 and receive 40. See the niche edits service page for the current offer before you quote.

Why cheap niche edits are rarely cheap
Searches for cheap niche edit links and affordable niche edits are common, and it is easy to see why. Agencies want to stretch a client budget. But very low prices usually tell you something about the inventory:
- the site sells links to anyone, so its outbound links are mixed and often off topic
- the page has no traffic, or was published only to host paid links
- the link sits in a block of unrelated links rather than in useful context
- there is no revision or replacement if the link changes
A cheap link that does nothing, or that you have to explain to a client later, is not a saving. Affordable should mean fair value for a relevant, natural placement, not the lowest price on a list. If a quote looks far below the market, ask to see example pages before you buy.
How to price niche edits for your clients
Start with your true cost, not the supplier price alone. Add the time your team spends on the brief, reporting and client calls. Then decide on a fee that fits the value of the work to the client.
A simple example with a 10-link package:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| SEORUK cost (10 links) | £445.30 |
| Your time: brief, review and reporting (estimate) | £100.00 |
| Total cost to your agency | £545.30 |
| Client price at £90 per link | £900.00 |
| Margin before overheads | £354.70 |
These numbers are illustrations, not a pricing rule. Your hourly cost and client market may be very different. During the double-links offer you could pass the extra links on, keep the client price and deliver more, or use them to support a second set of pages. Decide which before you sell, and write it into the proposal.

Questions to ask before you buy any niche edit package
Whoever you buy from, these questions protect your agency:
- Can I see example pages similar to the ones I will get?
- How do you check that a site has real organic traffic?
- Where on the page does the link go, and who writes the surrounding text?
- How long until links are live, and what happens if one is late?
- How many revisions do I get, and what happens if a link is removed?
- Will the report carry my branding or yours?
If a provider cannot answer clearly, that is useful information. Our guide on how to choose the best niche edit service covers these checks in more depth.
Niche edits or a monthly link building package?
Niche edits are bought per link, which suits a defined target such as a few priority pages. If a client needs an ongoing campaign with a planned mix of link types, a monthly link building package may be a better fit, starting at £750 a month. Not sure which link type to use?
